Blue Springs Walk New Zealand

Blue Springs Walk

I did this walk with my “adventure buddy”, Amanda Church. It is an amazing walk and this is some of the clearest water I have ever seen in New Zealand.

Blue Springs Walk

The Blue Spring at Te Waihou Walkway is internationally acclaimed, with water so pure it supplies around 70% of New Zealand’s bottled water. The walk is located around 1 hour drive from Hamilton, close to the town of Putut. The entrance to the walk is at located at Leslie road carpark near Putaruru. The walk is 1 and half hours one-way. If you want to do a shorter walk you can just walk to the half way mark and back. The best views are on the first part of the walk. Amanda has lived in New Zealand for 30 years and as soon as she saw The Blue Springs she was in awe! She was speechless for one whole minute because it was so pretty and the water is so clear! We didn’t go on a very sunny day but it was still really pretty. This is a must to do if you are near this area.
