This walk is actually very close to where I live and I walk it at least 3-4 times a week with my dog. It is a nice walk through bush and follows the estuary. You can access it from 3 spots, Robinson road, Wainui road(by the school) and Kaitoke street. The walk is about 20 mins one way, depending on where you start.
You can walk dogs through this part as long as they are on a lead. When it is high tide it is a very pretty walk and you can go swimming in spots if it’s a hot summer’s day. The walk crosses a few little bridges with tiny streams running under them as well. Over all it’s a very pretty walk.
