INFORMATION TO HELP YOU DO THIS ADVENTURE ASAP
START YOUR ADVENTURE FROM – Best place to start your paddle from is Puriri street in Raglan (Aroaro Bay)
DESTINATION – Straight accross the harbour from Arcaro Bay is Ponganui Creek, at the end of the creek is a samll water fall, it about 3km up the creek once you have crossed the harbour.
HOT TIPS
- Start your journey 2 hours before high tide
- Winds should be 15 knots or lower to be enjoyable and safe. If the wind is higher to be honest its just not that fun – True story. check out the weather here. Click link below to check wind in Raglan for the next few days.

- The best option is to have your own kayak or paddle board and leave form the best destination = Puriri Bay
- This adventure is considered high risk by Health and Safety NZ and is recommend to be done as a guided tour.
