On one of our days in Vanuatu we explored the “Rarru Rentapoa Waterfall”. The tour guide was a nice lady who told us about how she used to jump off the waterfalls here as a child, and it was a fun place for her and her friends to hang out. The walk to the waterfall was very short, only 5-10 min but it was very pretty along the way.
We jumped off the waterfall into the cool, refreshing water, and managed to find a small cave we could explore behind the waterfall. We used a rope that was there to pull ourselves in as the power from the waterfall was strong.
To find this place any of the taxi drivers will know where to take you if you just say the name “Rarau Rentapao Waterfall”. The site is located directly opposite to the entrance of Turtle Beach.
The cost was $20 nz per person.
